Celebrate Mooroolbark is an annual community festival held in March. Usually a one-day event held at Red Earth Park and Mooroolbark Community Centre, 2021 is looking very different!
The 2021 festival will include 8 days of smaller pop-up style events during day and night, around town, on and offline, Wednesday to Wednesday from 24 to 31 March 2021. The smaller events will help us to maintain smaller crowds in each location, with good social distancing, allowing our team to monitor attendee numbers if required and better manage the health and safety of all involved.
Celebrate Mooroolbark 2021 will include pop-up performances and activities buskers filling our streets with music, a makers market over the weekend in Hookey Park, a classic car convoy and display, open mic nights, workshops, a HUGE Meccano display inside The Terrace, competitions, the Amazing Mooroolbark Trail and more!
Celebrate Mooroolbark seeks to create a truly local festival that remains relevant to the people in the community of Mooroolbark and surrounding areas. It aims to bring together the full diversity of our region with a family friendly event provided by and for the community. In so doing, we celebrate and enhance our community spirit, connectedness and quality of life.
